Maclin Signs With Ravens

Free agent wide receiver Jeremy Maclin has signed with the Ravens.  So ends the Bills quest to get him under contract.  Maclin had spent 2 days visiting Buffalo but left without a deal.  He went on to Baltimore which gave him a 2 year agreement.  The Eagles were also reportedly interested.  BUFFALO’S LOSS IS BALTIMORE’S GAIN.  MACLIN WAS THE MOST TALENTED RECEIVER ON THE MARKET.  HE WOULD HAVE ADDED DEPTH BEHIND SAMMY WATKINS AND ZAY JONES.  THE BILLS HAVE THE SALARY CAP ROOM THAT WOULD HAVE MADE IT POSSIBLE.  FRUSTRATED THAT MACLIN GOT AWAY, THE FAITHFUL  ARE RESIGNED AS 1BUFFALO.

The Bills are unlikely to snap the playoff drought this season.  Now running into 17 years, there have been too many recent changes to expect a dramatic turnaround.  With a new head coach, coaching staff, general manager, and scouts, don’t count on it coming together quickly.  Sean McDermott will introduce discipline that has been sorely lacking.  Tyrod Taylor is a caretaker quarterback who likely will be gone in a year.  THE FAITHFUL WILL ENDURE ANOTHER REBUILDING SEASON.  THE AFC EAST IS TOUGH, AND PROSPECTS FOR A WILDCARD BERTH ARE REMOTE.  REALISTIC IN THE CITY OF NO ILLUSIONS, WE NONETHELESS SUPPORT OUR TEAM AS 1BUFFALO.

The Bills should partner with cryptocurrency bitcoin.  Owner Terry Pegula should catch the wave of the future and accept bitcoins as payment for Bills tickets.  The medium of exchange is increasingly accepted to settle transactions.  Its market value has soared, resulting in a multibillion dollar capitalization.  Bitcoin should also be accepted for purchase of refreshments and merchandise at home games.  THE BILLS HAVE EMBRACED UBER, ANOTHER MAJOR INNOVATION.  IT IS NOW A PROUD PARTNER OF THE TEAM.  ENERGIZED BY SUCH CUTTING EDGE TECHNOLOGY, WE LOOK TO THE FUTURE AS 1BUFFALO.

The Bills are a team in transition.  Since last season ended there has been a general housecleaning.  Gone are head coach Rex Ryan and general manager Doug Whaley.  Enter Sean McDermott and Brandon Beane along with a new coaching and scouting staff.  Tyrod Taylor is a caretaker at quarterback, having agreed to a 10 million dollar contract reduction.  The draft yielded few prospects to help the slumping football program.  BILLS FANS CAN EXPECT ANOTHER REBUILDING YEAR.  THERE MAY BE CONSOLATION IN AN END TO THE FRONT OFFICE REVOLVING DOOR.  THE PLAYOFF DROUGHT IS LIKELY TO CONTINUE, GIVEN THE PRIMACY OF NEW ENGLAND AND RESURGENCE OF MIAMI IN THE AFC EAST.  HOPING FOR AN ELUSIVE TURNAROUND, THE FAITHFUL BRAVELY WAIT AS 1BUFFALO.

Coach Sean McDermott said Jeremy Maclin’s visit to the Bills went well.  He deemed Maclin a good football player.  Beyond that he was noncommittal.  McDermott has reportedly conferred with the Chief’s coach Andy Reid about Maclin, who is also meeting with the Ravens.  ULTIMATELY IT WILL COME DOWN TO MONEY AND CONTRACT LENGTH.  THE BILLS HAVE SOME SALARY CAP ROOM TO MAKE A GENEROUS OFFER.  MACLIN IS UNDOUBTEDLY THE MOST TALENTED RECEIVER CURRENTLY ON THE MARKET.  SEEING MERIT IN SIGNING HIM AT THE RIGHT PRICE, THE FAITHFUL AWAIT WORD AS 1BUFFALO.

Bills cornerback Shareece Wright took a Uber ride from Chicago to Buffalo.  The driver, Hadi Abdollahian from Turkey, at first thought Wright needed a ride to Buffalo Wild Wings.  Instead they drove 550 miles from O’Hare Airport to New Era Field.  They traveled for 8 hours, arriving in time for Wright to make practice.  WRIGHT AND HIS TURKISH DRIVER LITERALLY WENT THE EXTRA MILE.  THE FARE WAS $632.08, TO WHICH WRIGHT ADDED A $300 TIP.  UBER, A PROUD SPONSOR OF THE BILLS, CAME THROUGH IN A CLUTCH PERFORMANCE.  SEEKING SIMILAR DEDICATION FROM BILLS PLAYERS AND STAFF, WE  ARE ALL 1BUFFALO.

Free agent Jeremy Maclin has visited the Bills.  The star wide receiver is under the Bills radar since his release by Kansas City last week.  Both Tyrod Taylor and LeSean McCoy are advocating his signing.  MACLIN IS A TALENTED VETERAN WHO CAN SIGNIFICANTLY HELP THE BILLS RECEIVING GAME.  MANAGEMENT IS LIKELY TO OFFER HIM A SHORT-TERM CONTRACT.  LOOKING FOR WORD FROM COACH McDERMOTT AND GM BRANDON BEANE, WE EXPECTANTLY REMAIN 1BUFFALO.

Free agent wide receiver Jeremy Machlin is set to visit the Bills.  He is available following his surprise release last week by the Chiefs.  The question on management’s mind is at what cost?  The Bills have some salary cap space to work with.  MACHLIN IS BUFFALO’S STRONGEST PROSPECT AT RECEIVER.  THE RANKS ARE THIN DUE TO SAMMY WATKIN’S RECURRING HEALTH ISSUES.  HAVING PLAYED UNDER COACH McDERMOTT AT PHILADELPHIA, MACHLIN WOULD BE A GOOD FIT.  LOOKING FOR DIRECTION FROM THE FRONT OFFICE, WE REGROUP AS 1BUFFALO.

The Bills are looking to sign wide receiver Jeremy Maclin.  The 2014 Pro Bowler was released by the Chiefs after an injury ridden season.  Maclin is being actively recruited by his good friend, LeSean McCoy, and Tyrod Taylor.  Over the past 3 years he has recorded 216 receptions, 2,942 yards, and 20 touchdowns.  He played for Sean McDermott when both were with Philadelphia.  MACLIN’S SIGNING WOULD BRING MUCH NEEDED DEPTH TO THE RECEIVER CORPS.  SAMMY WATKINS HAS STRUGGLED WITH INJURIES.  ROOKIE ZAY JONES IS UNTESTED IN THE PROS.  SEEING THE WISDOM OF BRINGING HIM ON BOARD, WE COME TOGETHER AS 1BUFFALO.

ESPN Insider sees Tyrod Taylor making the greatest leap forward among NFL quarterbacks.  It cites Taylor’s accomplishments on the field.  He has thrown only 2 interceptions in 816 passes.  He has rushed for 1,148 yards over the past 2 seasons.  Taylor has achieved this with injuries plaguing  Sammy Watkins and LeSean McCoy.  He moreover worked with new offensive coordinator Rick Dennison when both were with Baltimore.  TAYLOR WILL NEED A STANDOUT SEASON TO SECURE HIS POSITION.  THAT HE AGREED TO A 10 MILLION DOLLAR CONTRACT REDUCTION SHOWS THE FRONT OFFICE IS NOT SOLD ON HIM.  LOOKING AT LONG LAST FOR A FRANCHISE QUARTERBACK, THE FAITHFUL RALLY AS 1BUFFALO.
