Pegula Sports Hires Consultant to Explore New Stadium

Pegula Sports & Entertainment has hired CAA ICON to explore a new stadium. The Denver based consulting firm will examine options for renovating or replacing both New Era Field and KeyBank Center. The venues are home to the Bills and Sabres, both owned by Pegula Sports. Co-owner Kim Pegula said the paramount concern is the fan experience. THE PRIVATELY FUNDED STUDY WAS WELCOMED BY LOCAL GOVERNMENT LEADERS. THE NEED IS PARTICULARLY PRESSING FOR NEW ERA FIELD, AMONG THE MOST ANTIQUATED ARENAS IN THE NFL. ANY NEW FACILITIES WILL LIKELY BE FUNDED BY A COMBINATION OF PRIVATE, PUBLIC, AND LEAGUE MONEY. THEY SHOULD LOGICALLY BE LOCATED DOWNTOWN NEAR CANALSIDE TO ANCHOR REDEVELOPMENT. ENCOURAGED BY THIS IMPORTANT FIRST STEP, WE COME TOGETHER AS 1BUFFALO.
