Ralph Wilson Honored by Detroit Institute of Arts

Ralph Wilson’s memory is being honored by the Detroit Institute of Arts. A special exhibition is running this summer featuring French Impressionists, his favorite paintings. Wilson, a longtime Detroit resident and art collector, founded the Bills and owned the team from 1959 – 2014. THE RALPH WILSON FOUNDATION CONTINUES HIS LEGACY IN BOTH BUFFALO AND DETROIT. THIS IS THE CENTENNIAL OF HIS BIRTH, AND HIS TRUSTEES HAVE MADE MAJOR GIFTS FOR PUBLIC PARKS IN BOTH CITIES. GRATEFUL FOR HIS LIFE AND WORK AMONG US, WE PAUSE AND REFLECT AS 1BUFFALO.
