Taylor to Play in Season Opener

Tyrod Taylor will play in Sunday’s regular season opener against the Jets.  He cleared the concussion protocol and is expected to be the starting quarterback.  TJ Yates, who also suffered a concussion, was placed on injured reserve.  He will be eligible to return to play in 8 weeks.  Nathan Peterman and Joe Webb will serve as backups to Taylor.  In other developments the Bills re-signed safety Colt Anderson and released tackle Deandre Coleman.  THE COACHING STAFF IS ERRING IN GIVING THE STARTING NOD TO TAYLOR.  HE HAD A DISMAL PRESEASON, THROWING 2 INTERCEPTIONS FOR A QUARTERBACK RATING OF JUST 27.9.  THE BILLS SHOULD CUT HIM LOOSE AND GO WITH PROMISING ROOKIE PETERMAN.  DISCOURAGED BY THE CRISIS AT QUARTERBACK, WE STRUGGLE TO REMAIN 1BUFFALO.
